We are the only mentoring program in the state of Maine that is specifically geared to matching youths in foster care with adults to serve as friends, teachers and mentors. We serve youths in Cumberland and York counties.

What is a mentor?

A teacher: guides youth in learning life skills necessary for independent living.

A role model: is willing to reflect on their own life experience and help a youth develop future goals.

A friend: provides encouraging support and has time to listen.

A link to the community: helps youth find information and develop community connections and relationships.
